Pleasant Doors
Titled "Pleasant Doors" after the words which may be seen in the sentence that appears in the upper right hand corner of the work (taken from a circa 1910 novel). This work features the face (modeled after a young Bette Davis) of a wistful woman reflectively gazing ahead. This painting incorporates acrylic paint, faux-finished color fields as well as ephemeral and vintage photographic mixed-media collage.
